It should be noted that we resell older, used toys and collectables most of which, will by the very nature of what they are, be second hand and have shelf wear  and likely time related wear and tear which may include but not be limited to possible damage , discoloration or marking to the packaging. Collectors’ cinema posters are original theatrical movie posters and may have been previously used for advertisement purposes by a cinema or movie company and as such may have expected edge wear, folds creasing pin holes and tears. More detailed images and video links may be available on request and can be requested by emailing us – if this is important to you please request this report before ordering. As opening bubbles and packaging significantly affects the value of collectables that are intended for display. To that end we are generally not able to open to test battery operated or electrically operated items. More detailed individual product information is available on request – No warranty is implied or offered on battery or electrically operated items. Items sold by Looking At Toys are intended for display in the original packaging and not play. Our Items are intended for the adult collector, they are not intended for play by those under 16 and may have small parts that pose a significant choke risk and hazard for younger children.

Consumer right of return and refund

This clause only applies if you are a consumer.

If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel a contract during the period set out below. This means that during the relevant period if you change your mind or for any other reason you decide you do not want to keep a product, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the contract and receive a refund. Advice about your legal right to cancel the contract is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

However, this cancellation right does not apply in the case of:

• any made-to-measure or custom-made products or products made to your specification or clearly personalised;
• newspapers, periodicals or magazines;
• perishable goods, such as food, drink or fresh flowers;
• software, DVDs or CDs which have a security seal which you have opened or unsealed.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days. The following procedures will apply to cancel an item. Please note that an item is not deemed to have been cancelled unless the following procedure is followed and unless we have received the product back within 14 days after the item was delivered to you.

Please email us info@lookingattoys.co.uk indicating the reasons for your return. If you have contacted us to cancel before delivery of your products, though your order will have been cancelled, normally delivery cannot be interrupted (except possibly if cancellation takes place before dispatch of the products). Please refuse any delivery of any cancelled products or return them to us.

Once you have contacted us we will issue you with a returns form. Please pack the items securely and enclose the completed returns form with the products.

You must ensure that we receive the products within 14 days after the day of the date that the item was delivered to you.

Returned products must be returned in the same condition as they were received in, in the same packaging, with any inner packaging, display bubbles intact and undamaged and with all product tags intact. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund or to deduct a handling charge if the products are returned to us in an un-saleable condition, if they are damaged, if the product tags or labels are not intact or the internal packaging is not intact or is damaged or if products are not returned in the original packaging. Cards and bubbles should be intact.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you or if the packaging is damaged.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than- 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We will withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back.

If the consumer has received goods in connection with the contract you shall send back the goods or hand them over to us . LOOKING AT TOYS LTD , AVONDALE HOUSE 37 ANSON ST RUGELEY Staffordshire, WS15 2BA, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you receive the goods. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. It is recommend that you use a recorded delivery service and that you adequately insure the products during transit. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to products during transit when being returned to us. If returned products are lost or damaged in transit we reserve the right to charge you for (or not to refund any amount attributable to) such loss or damage.
